Pilot

A pilot that can't hurt you.

See Compiled run on your own data, without your data ever leaving and without waiting on a long procurement cycle.

How it works

Three phases. Each one optional — and safe.

You can stop at any phase. We define success criteria with you up front, and the deployment tears down cleanly if it is a no.

Phase 0

Air-gapped proof — no data leaves, no dependencies

Compiled has a fully air-gapped mode that runs offline in an isolated environment — no external calls, no cloud dependency, nothing to attest before you start. Run it on a sample of your own traffic and see real verdicts on your own machine. This deliberately sidesteps the "we can't touch a vendor without SOC 2" blocker for a first look.

What you get: a working recognizer library running locally, real verdicts on your sample data, and a concrete basis for deciding whether to proceed.

Phase 1

In-tenant pilot — 30 days, one use case

Deploy as an Azure Marketplace managed application into your own tenant. Analysis runs on your own Azure OpenAI resource at full quality, so content never leaves your boundary. Scope to one use case — one desk's communications, or one agent fleet. Your analysts calibrate on your benign traffic and confirm or dismiss findings.

What you get: real detection results on your actual traffic, a calibrated threshold tuned to your noise level, and examiner-ready output samples.

Phase 2

Evidence and decision

An agreed readout against the success criteria defined at the start: detection results on your data, the false-positive rate at your real base rate after calibration, coverage versus your current tooling, and examiner-ready output samples. Success criteria are set with you before we begin.

If the numbers are not there, you get a clean teardown and an honest explanation. If they are, you have everything you need to make a decision.

Timeline

From first look to a decision in under five weeks.

Week 0
Air-gapped proof

Run on a local sample. No egress, no procurement.

Weeks 1–4
In-tenant pilot

Deploy, calibrate, collect findings on real traffic.

Week 5
Readout

Results vs. agreed criteria. Decision. Clean teardown if no.

Control

What you control throughout.

You retain full control at every step. There is no dependency on Compiled that you cannot remove.

Your data never leaves

Analysis runs inside your environment — your machine in Phase 0, your Azure tenant in Phase 1. No content is transmitted to Compiled at any point.

You approve every recognizer update

Recognizer updates are staged for your review before they are applied. Nothing changes in your deployment without your knowledge.

Tear it down at any time

The managed application can be removed from your tenant at any point. There is no lock-in and no data that persists with us after removal.

The managed app is inspectable

The Azure Marketplace deployment is a standard managed application. Your team can inspect what is running, what it accesses, and what it logs.

Requirements

What we need from you.

The in-tenant phase has four requirements. None of them are unusual for a scoped technical evaluation.

An isolated sandbox or subscription

A non-production Azure subscription or sandbox environment where the managed application can be deployed. It does not need to be connected to production systems initially.

A representative sample of traffic

A sample of the communications or agent actions you want to test against — ideally with some examples of the behavior you want to catch, and a larger volume of normal traffic. Labeled data produces the most useful calibration results but is not required.

A point of contact

One person on your team — security analyst, compliance officer, or technical evaluator — who will review findings and confirm or dismiss them during the pilot period.

Agreed success criteria

What does a successful pilot look like for you? We define this together before the pilot starts, so the readout is against a concrete bar, not an open-ended question.
